A new place, a new beginning for the people of God, separate yourselves
Gen.12
[1] Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee :
[2] And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless
thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
[3] And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee:
and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
( Messiah, Salvation would come from this seed )
[4] So Abram
departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram
was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
[5] And Abram took Sarai his
wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered,
and the souls that they had gotten in Haran
; ( converted followers to God )
and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan;
and into the land of Canaan they came.
[6] And Abram passed through
the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite
was then in the land.
[7] And the LORD appeared unto
Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land:
and there builded he an altar
unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.
[8]
And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched
his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there
he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name
of the LORD.

Lev.20[ 24] But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.[ 25] Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separate d from you as unclean.

1Kgs.8[ 53] For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth , to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.
Ezra.6[ 21] And the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat,[ 22] And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
Ezra.9[ 1] Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

Leaving sin and making a place for God

[1] And
Abram went up out of Egypt,
he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south.[

Bethel, unto
the place where his tent had been at the beginning,

Hebrew = one from beyond
1) a designation of the patriarchs and the Israelites (noun
proper)
2) a designation of the patriarchs and the Israelites (adjective
Melchizedek king of Salem ( King of Peace,
Jerusalem )
Melchizedek - Melchisedec was a priest
Shadow of Messiah's offices, King and a Priest
The "priestly"
line of succession in Israel, according to God's Torah, was different
from the "kingly"
line. The kings were to descend from the tribe of
Judah, whereas the priests were to
be of the tribe of Levi. The
High Priest was selected from the household of Aaron.
Messiah was to be both a King and a High Priest
. It would appear impossible for the Messiah to lay claim
to both offices, since He would have to be from both the tribes of Judah and
Levi the unbelievers say.
However that obstacle is overcome because His, Messiah's
priesthood is not of the order of the Levitical priesthood, but of the order
of the Melchizedek priesthood, an eternal priesthood!
Psalm 110: [
1] The LORD said unto
my Lord, ( Messiah
) Sit thou at my right hand
, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine
enemies.
[3] Thy people
shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from
the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
[4] The LORD
hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou ( Messiah ) art
a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek
[5] The Lord ( Messiah ) at thy (the Father's) right hand
shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
[6] He shall
judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he
shall wound the heads over many countries.
Psalm 2 [
1] Why do the heathen rage,
and the people imagine a vain thing?
Peter said : Acts.4:[
25] Who by the
mouth of thy servant David hast said,
Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain
things? [26
] The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered
